[fa icon="plus-square"] Are my deposits insured?

Your deposits are insured through the AIG policy taken up by Kiwi Global Trust. In addition, Fullerton Markets has put in place a strong fund safety structure to protect your deposits fully:

There is an absolute segregation of clients funds from our company operational funds. The funds that you deposit goes into a separate entity, Kiwi Global Trust (www.kiwiglobaltrust.co.nz), which serves as a custodian, with lawyers and legal advisors who govern the funds.

This alone ensures the safety of your funds as your funds do not reside with the broker itself. In the event of broker insolvency, the broker is unable to touch the clients funds and Kiwi Global Trust will repay the clients in full.

On top of this primary protection is the AIG policy, which serves as an extra level of protection against any form of misappropriation of funds by any personnel of Kiwi Global Trust. In the event of misappropriation, the AIG policy will be activated to recover any potential losses as deemed fit by the law and the policy.

This scenario usually occurs in a Short trade. In a Short trade, you enter with the Bid price and close with the Ask price. However, candlestick represents Bid price only. When the candlestick (Bid price) moves near to your Stop Loss, the Ask price (which is higher than Bid price) would have hit your Stop Loss level, hence closing your trade.
